The proposed Mid-States Corridor, one of the largest and most expensive highway projects in Southern Indiana’s history, will cost more than $3 billion and could require more than 3,000 acres for construction. Its preferred route threatens homes, heritage farms, family businesses, churches, natural wetlands, and forests along its path.
