The Family Reunification Program: turning injustice into action, bringing families back together.

You Are The Power is proud to announce the launch of our Family Reunification Program, a vital initiative dedicated to reuniting families who have been wrongfully separated due to government overreach within the family policing system.
Our commitment to justice has already made a profound impact. Through our advocacy and action, families across the country have been reunited, state-level child welfare policies have been revised – particularly in cases involving medically complex children – and new legislation has been passed to protect the rights of both children and their parents or guardians.
The Family Reunification Program builds on these successes by providing direct support to families facing unjust separation, while addressing the systemic lack of due process that often defines these cases. In addition, the program will serve as a resource hub for partner organizations pursuing reform within the family policing system.
This initiative is led by Jenna Foster, a mother and advocate with lived experience who now works tirelessly to support families affected by false allegations. She is joined by Gretchen Brocard, who leads the investigative team, and Cayme Yeager-Brewer, who manages intake and support services.
For inquiries about the program, please contact Jenna Foster at jenna@youarethepower.net.

Meet the team

Jenna Foster – Team Leader
Jenna is originally from Alaska and currently lives in Virginia with her family. Jenna draws on her understanding of navigating the family policing system. She and her husband were falsely accused of abusing their youngest daughter. After being vindicated and reuniting with their family, Jenna dedicated herself to transforming that painful experience into something meaningful for others.
Jenna leads with a servant’s heart, and her multidisciplinary team is focused and prepared to assist those who have suffered from government overreach.

Gretchen Brocard – Senior Investigator
Gretchen Brocard has volunteered with You Are The Power for over a year as the Georgia State Organizer and has been crucial to our success in the state, working tirelessly to raise awareness about the need for reform in the family policing system. She led a Tiger Team that not only brought together factually innocent families torn apart by false allegations of abuse but also advocated for second opinion legislation to help thousands more.
Meanwhile, Gretchen will continue to serve her fellow Georgians in that role but has agreed to join the Family Reunification Program as Senior Investigator. In this new position, she will supervise and be responsible for a team that investigates all FRP requests for assistance, gathers the necessary case-related documents for review, files open records requests, completes comprehensive reports, and conducts interviews with potential clients and witnesses. Gretchen will ensure that each request for assistance meets our acceptance criteria.

Cayme Yeager-Brewer – Intake Manager
Cayme Brewer has volunteered with You Are The Power for over a year as the Alabama State Organizer, bringing her lived experience with the family policing system and collaborating with other state organizers in the Southeast to build a network of dedicated volunteers supporting those adversely impacted by government overreach.
She will continue to serve in that role but has agreed to join the Family Reunification Program (FRP) as Intake Manager. In this new position, she will supervise intake specialists, process all assistance requests, input them into an electronic case management system, file intake reports, and collaborate with the Senior Investigator and Team Leader to ensure each request meets our acceptance criteria.

Kaylee Doss – Parent Advocate
Kaylee is a mother and a strong believer in the power of truth and justice. Kaylee’s journey into parental advocacy began with her personal and painful experience of fighting to protect her daughter, Rowan, from a family policing system that was quick to judge and slow to listen.
What happened to Kaylee’s family exposed a much bigger issue: how easily families can be torn apart by false abuse accusations in a corrupt system that lacks accountability, compassion, and due process. Instead of letting injustice defeat her, she used it as motivation to stand up, speak out, and fight for those who felt silenced and powerless.
Kaylee committed herself to her role with You Are The Power, helping parents and children impacted by government overreach. She believes every family is entitled to due process, should be heard, and no parent should have to fight alone.
